Product Manager
Are you ready to revolutionise the most advanced industry in the world? Join Flexciton to boost the productivity of world semiconductor manufacturing and improve the lives of the countless individuals who depend on it.
Imagine yourself regularly visiting semiconductor factories (“fabs”), working with engineers who use photolithography machines valued at $100 million each to produce nanometer-scale designs on silicon wafers. Picture the impact of our optimisation software squeezing out 20% more capacity from a fab costing $100 billion.
This is game-changing software that directly contributes to producing the next generation of chips, powering AI data centres, autonomous vehicles, and even SpaceX rockets! If you're ready to be part of something truly transformative, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated product manager to discover, design, develop and bring highly innovative products into the semiconductor market. This will involve visiting state-of-the-art fabs, talking to expert industrial engineers, working with R&D, performing data analyses, designing modern UIs and creating paradigm-shifting products.
A typical discovery conversation might go like this:
“Why are you restricted to using these machines for this product?” “When you’re producing FinFETs at sub-14nm scale, we have to use hot doping so the crystal structure isn’t damaged, shooting the resistance way up. We only have four machines which can do this process.” “And buying more machines is too expensive?” “We just don’t have space in the current building, so we need to find more capacity some other way.” “...Sounds like you need Flexciton scheduling!”
It’s extremely exciting to work with such cutting-edge technology, and don’t worry: previous experience in semiconductor or manufacturing is not required.
What you’ll be doing
Product Discovery: Analyse the market and competition; visit and engage with customers globally; work closely with AI researchers and optimisation engineers.
Product Development and Validation: Analyse fab data; prototype and test solutions; iterate quickly; define the roadmap and get to market.
Product Marketing: Communicate clear value propositions; create compelling product demos; position products in the market; create marketing content and case studies.
Execution: Work with cross-functional engineering teams; dive into technical details to ensure they meet customer needs; define goals and prioritise features.
